Pre-school education
Since the 1st of September we have been applying methodology “Pre-K for All”, which is widely applied in American preschools. It successfully integrates IKT technologies, exploratory and creative methods of activities (STEAM) and the principles of outdoor pedagogy.
The essence of teaching in all sections of “Pre-K For All” is to enable children to observe objects and phenomena in their environment in increasingly complex ways. The main task is to teach children critical thinking through practical research, as well as to acquaint them with objects or phenomena in the immediate environment as part of children’s daily life. Not only will experiments and research methods be applied in the activities, we will also develop children’s literacy and language skills. We will pay a lot of attention to teaching and analyzing literature. Children are encouraged to engage in discussions about stories, fairy tales, informational texts read by the teacher. Reading expands children‘s vocabulary. It also encourages them to learn the meaning of new words.
